The Campus Group is a division of Ripple Effect 4 (Pty) Ltd., a specialised IT software-education company, offering customized education solutions over the Internet and Corporate Intranets. The core function of The Campus Group is to provide e-learning solutions for corporates, by creating, designing and building customised, online Virtual Campuses. These campuses are utilised for providing access to Learning Material, Induction Programmes, Staff Training & Upskilling and may also fulfil Human Resource functions.
All course content is delivered online (or through a corporate intranet). Associated assessments are also online and automated. Any changes made to the databases, user details, content or assessments, occurs in real-time.
In our campus environments, each staff member, student (or user) is individually registered and assigned specific course content. Thus their progress can be independently monitored, through the comprehensive Administration interface associated with each Virtual Campus.
The Campus Group has created Virtual campuses for Volkswagen, Audi, The Don Hotel Suites, SEAT automotive, Untamed Africa, STTI (a division of Imperial Holdings), Key Performance Technologies, Spescom (who utilise the virtual campus technology for Vodacom, Siemens, Nedcor, Relyant, Edcon, and I-Comms), Eco Training and AfriTrust among others).
In total, The Campus Group provides a virtual campus solution across 14 campus platforms to over 11,000 students in 118 countries.
Our technology has all been developed locally over the past seven years. We are a small enterprise, but have proven that that we can cater to the needs of major corporates. We’re graduates of the Microsoft Empowerment Programme and are have been Microsoft Accredited Partners since 2005 as Independent Software Vendors.
Key Differentiators
One key feature of our virtual campuses is its focus on the individual. In addition to individual profiles for each user / learner, course or content allocation and assessment (testing) is also user specific. Thus progress on an individual user basis is made available.
The second key feature is the integration of course content with it’s corresponding course assessment. Both aspects of the campus are delivered online and both are automated, thus progress and pace through material is dictated by the user.
